Inventory Control Coordinator

About the role

Sandvik’s Rotary Drilling Division in Alachua, FL is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure inventory accuracy and support efficient warehouse operations. The role works closely with Warehouse, Quality, and Procurement teams to maintain reliable inventory records and smooth material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate inventory discrepancies identified through cycle counts and audits.
• Review transaction histories and alternate storage locations to determine root causes.
• Perform inventory adjustments in the LEAN/MRP system and QuickBase, obtaining management approval as required.
• Manage warehouse locations, coordinate consolidation activities, and improve storage utilization.
• Support inventory audits, cycle counting, and ongoing accuracy initiatives.
• Resolve logistics‑related quality issues and process inventory status changes (Good Stock, Hold, Rejected).
• Investigate and correct receiving discrepancies such as PO mismatches, incorrect quantities, or documentation issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with Sandvik’s inventory control procedures and standards.

Required skills
