Project Specialist – Expanded Services

About the role

The Project Specialist serves as the lead technical point of contact for expanded environmental services, supporting internal stakeholders and delivering client programs accurately, on time, and in line with quality standards. This remote position focuses on radon and asbestos consulting, project coordination, and technical guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical resource for radon/asbestos contracts, including client consultation, regulatory compliance reviews, and preparation of sampling plans, mitigation plans, and final reports.
• Coordinate project tasks such as scheduling, communication, documentation, and delivery of reports to clients, while managing subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and resolve or escalate them according to established procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff and new hires, and assist with interview screening and personnel management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and reasoning abilities to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for client interaction and report preparation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Required skills

• Radon and asbestos consulting expertise.
• Preparation of Asbestos Sampling Plans, Radon Reports, and Mitigation Plans.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Competence in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
