Project Scheduler – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Project Scheduler to support a large federal government healthcare modernization effort. This 100% remote position will create, monitor, and maintain detailed schedules for multiple IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to define tasks, dependencies, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Track progress, update schedules, and produce status reports for leadership.
• Monitor resource allocation across concurrent projects, identifying conflicts and bottlenecks.
• Conduct critical‑path analyses, flag schedule risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate regular scheduling meetings to gather updates and refine plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as a project scheduler in IT or a related industry.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Government/Public Trust clearance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
• Understanding of IT project lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with dependency management, critical‑path analysis, and resource planning.
