Project Manager - Engineering Midstream Oil and Gas

About the role

Atwell, a consulting, engineering and construction firm serving real estate, land development and energy markets, is hiring a Project Manager with energy experience. Current projects cover oil and natural gas, CO2, hydrogen and RNG pipelines and facilities. The role helps build the business through industry contacts nationwide while delivering schedule, cost and quality leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Oil and Gas/Hydrocarbons Projects division, setting goals aligned with the company's vision.
• Lead project strategy and execution in line with client expectations, industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary liaison with key clients, building relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement using emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Mentor and develop a team of project managers and engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineering or Survey license is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years in senior leadership roles in the oil and gas industry, with a track record of managing large-scale projects.
• Extensive knowledge of pipeline and facility design, construction and operations.
• Strong business acumen, leadership and communication skills, and proven ability to build client relationships.
