Program Manager for Federal Healthcare Modernization

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the Program Management Office for a large federal healthcare modernization effort. This 100% remote position supports the Census Transformation & Application Modernization (CenTAM) program and requires occasional travel to the Washington, DC area.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cost, schedule, technical performance, staffing, quality, and contractual compliance across multiple projects and vendors.
• Manage the Integrated Program Schedule, budgets, forecasts, risk registers, and performance metrics.
• Serve as primary liaison for the Contracting Officer, Government Program Manager, subcontractors, and teaming partners.
• Lead program reviews, provide transparent reporting on financial and technical progress, and ensure rapid response to urgent issues.

Required profile

• 15+ years of program or project management experience on large, complex contracts.
• 10+ years directing enterprise IT development programs or PMO initiatives.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
