Product & Risk Analytics Manager

About the role

Rain, the AI Financial Health Platform, is looking for a Product & Risk Analytics Manager to lead data‑driven insights across product, user, and repayment streams. You will act as the data storyteller, shaping strategy, guiding product development, and optimizing risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and refine ML risk/underwriting models to reduce loss, ACH failures, and fraud.
• Monitor model performance, detect drift, and maintain data governance.
• Build and scale Looker dashboards and LookML models using Git/GitHub best practices.
• Conduct deep product and user analytics to inform acquisition funnels, segmentation, and retention.
• Design and analyze A/B tests, measure marketing effectiveness, and track company‑wide KPIs.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and leadership to ensure data accuracy and translate insights into executive narratives.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in data, product, and risk analytics with a track record of building credit/banking risk models.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced startup environment.
• Experience scaling impact and potentially leading an analytics team.

Required skills

• Expert SQL (Snowflake, complex queries)
• Python with ML libraries (Pandas, Scipy, XGBoost)
• BI tools: Looker, Superset
• Version control: Git, GitHub
• Statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, A/B experimentation
