Product Operations Specialist (Generalist)

About the role

Ramp is seeking a Product Operations Specialist to own operations for key products and help shape internal processes as the company scales. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, designers, data teams, and customer‑facing groups to drive data‑informed roadmaps, automation, and successful product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the voice of the customer, translating day‑to‑day experiences into product insights and roadmap recommendations.
• Develop and own company‑wide processes that prepare Ramp for larger scale and ensure predictable, reliable operations.
• Create high‑leverage product analytics and data analyses to identify performance, quality, and usability improvements.
• Support flawless product releases through documentation, enablement, and cross‑team context sharing.
• Manage incident identification and resolution to achieve rapid bug fixes.
• Oversee operational relationships with partners and vendors, negotiating service agreements and conducting joint performance assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product management, product operations, or strategy & operations, preferably in a fast‑growing business.
• Proven ability to drive complex initiatives across multiple teams and to dig to root causes for lasting solutions.
• Experience gathering qualitative and quantitative feedback to shape product recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and charting your own path.

Required skills

• SQL for data querying and insight generation.
• Experience with low‑code tooling platforms such as Retool.
• Technical programming experience (Python, Java, React) – nice‑to‑have.
