Product Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking our first Product Marketing hire to work directly with the founders and early team. You will shape how developers, platform teams, and AI‑native companies understand durable execution and where Restate fits within the emerging AI infrastructure stack.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own positioning, messaging, and category narratives across durable execution, AI agents, orchestration, and long‑running AI systems.
• Develop competitive positioning for technical evaluations and enterprise procurement processes.
• Own launches and major product moments for cloud, open‑source, and enterprise offerings.
• Translate customer success into case studies, technical narratives, and proof points for builders and buyers.
• Partner with founders and product leadership on packaging, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategy across Cloud, self‑hosted, and BYOC offerings.
• Create sales and community enablement material including technical content, battlecards, presentations, briefs, and objection handling.
• Ensure messaging consistency across product, engineering, developer relations, and founder‑led channels.
• Synthesize customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and win/loss analysis into product and company strategy.

Required profile

• Strong product marketing fundamentals with proven impact on positioning and messaging for technical products.
• Technical credibility to discuss AI infrastructure, agents, orchestration, and distributed systems with engineers.
• Exceptional communication skills to distill complex technical concepts into clear, memorable narratives.
• Launch experience delivering products or major features to market and generating momentum.
• Fluency in AI, actively using it to improve workflows and understanding its impact on discovery and buying behavior.
• Builder mindset with demonstrated capability from infrastructure, developer tooling, open‑source, or adjacent technical markets.
