Private Banker – VP or Executive Director, U.S. Private Bank

About the role

J.P. Morgan is seeking an experienced Private Banker to join its U.S. Private Bank at the Vice President or Executive Director level. You will work with high‑net‑worth families, advising them on wealth building, preservation, and management while collaborating with a broad network of internal specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Provide holistic advice on clients' balance sheets, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit, and banking solutions.
• Generate new business and acquire assets through proactive client acquisition and cross‑selling.
• Partner with internal experts to deliver interdisciplinary solutions tailored to client goals.
• Connect clients across all lines of business within J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. to ensure comprehensive service.
• Adhere strictly to risk, regulatory, and security policies.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in private banking or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Series 7, 66, and insurance licenses required (or obtainable within 90 days of start).
• Demonstrated sales success and strong business acumen.
• Established community network and client‑focused mindset.
• Solid understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit, and banking concepts.
