Director, Strategic Finance – Checking & Savings & Credit Card

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Strategic Finance to lead financial planning and analysis for SoFi’s fast‑growing Checking & Savings and Credit Card businesses. In this senior partnership role, you will shape capital allocation, drive growth strategy, and provide actionable insights to senior leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the multi‑year financial strategy, annual operating plan, and rolling forecasts for the Checking & Savings and Credit Card units.
• Partner with Business Unit leaders to translate financial and operational data into strategic recommendations.
• Build and analyze unit economics, including LTV, CAC, payback periods, and risk‑adjusted returns across cohorts and channels.
• Lead disciplined capital allocation through business cases, trade‑off analyses, and post‑investment performance measurement.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations, Treasury, Accounting, and Data teams on new product, pricing, and partnership evaluations.
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses on interest rates, member behavior, credit performance, and competitive dynamics.
• Identify and scale high‑impact AI use cases to enhance analytical rigor and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic finance or business partnering within a fast‑growth financial services environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to executive leadership.

Required skills

• Experience using AI‑enabled tools for financial modeling and workflow automation.
