Privacy, Cybersecurity, AI and Tech Transactions Associate

About the role

The firm seeks an associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to advise clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and technology transactions across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, manage breach notifications, and advise on legal implications.
• Draft and review service agreements, privacy policies, employee notices, AI governance policies, NDAs, EULAs, data protection addenda, and other IP‑related contracts.
• Provide product counseling for digital marketing, ad‑tech, AI deployments, chatbots, mobile apps, and support M&A diligence and negotiations.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of active practice in privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and technology transactions.
• Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation.
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to work independently under deadlines.

Required skills

• Cybersecurity incident response and breach notification expertise.
• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. privacy regimes (state laws, GLBA, HIPAA, COPPA) and familiarity with GDPR.
• Experience drafting privacy policies, data governance frameworks, and technology contracts.
