About the role

Womble Bond Dickinson seeks a Staff Attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group, working on ERISA and related litigation from either the Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ office. The role involves full‑cycle litigation duties and offers flexibility in work arrangements.

Key responsibilities

Conduct discovery, take depositions, draft motions, and assist at trial.
Collaborate with senior litigators to develop case strategy and research applicable law.
Work closely with paralegals, practice assistants, and other staff to manage case workflow.

Required profile

Licensed to practice in Georgia or Arizona (or eligible for admission without examination).
At least two years of experience in insurance defense, bad‑faith litigation, or ERISA litigation.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

Proficiency in legal research and application of statutes, case law, and procedural rules.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
