About the role

The Global Statistical Sciences department at Lilly is seeking a PhD Statistician Intern to contribute to cutting‑edge research and support drug discovery and development. You will design, execute, and analyze clinical and other studies while gaining technical expertise in advanced statistical methods.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Statistics or Biostatistics, completing the third year by May 2027.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective customer consultation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in statistical programming languages/software such as SAS, R, Python.
• Technical expertise in experimental design and statistical analysis.
• Creativity, innovation, and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience using AI tools (generative AI platforms, automation tools, or AI‑assisted research/analytics).
