People Operations Manager

About the role

The People Operations Manager will own the employee lifecycle at Quindar, from recruiting and onboarding to offboarding and ongoing support. Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will blend HR, compliance, event planning and workplace programs to create a seamless, high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage core people operations across onboarding, benefits administration, leave, employee changes and offboarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records, policies and internal documentation; serve as the trusted point of contact for employee questions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment regulations, coordinate filings, postings and training.
• Partner with hiring managers to define roles, run recruiting processes, coordinate offers and improve time‑to‑hire.
• Plan and execute company offsites, team gatherings and other employee events, handling logistics, budgets and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in people operations, HR, recruiting or a related function.
• Hands‑on experience managing multiple stages of the employee lifecycle in a fast‑moving, regulated environment.
• Strong judgment, empathy and the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and a service‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS, applicant‑tracking systems, payroll and benefits platforms.
• Familiarity with U.S. employment practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience planning complex events, managing vendors and budgets.
