People Operations Manager

About the role

Rogo is seeking its first People Operations team member to design, implement, and manage core people programs across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the People Lead, you will shape the employee experience as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve new‑hire onboarding, ensuring personalization, clarity, and scalability.
• Drive performance review cycles, designing processes that meet deadlines and provide guidance.
• Manage engagement surveys, interpret results, and draw actionable insights.
• Oversee the HR tech stack (Rippling PEO), handling evaluation, implementation, maintenance, and automation.
• Maintain accurate people data workflows for promotions, role changes, and off‑boarding.
• Lead benefits administration through the PEO and ensure HR compliance.
• Develop employee engagement activities, manage internal communications, and maintain the employee Wiki.
• Partner with people managers, providing resources and guidance for performance conversations and day‑to‑day people management.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Recruiting, and Leadership on projects and policy improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or program management.
• Proven ability to design and execute structured processes with minimal direction.
• Strong project‑management skills, capable of leading multi‑stakeholder initiatives end‑to‑end.
• High attention to detail, discretion with sensitive information, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• High emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and a bias toward action.

Required skills

• Experience managing HR systems and tools, especially Rippling.
• Proficiency in building and automating workflows within HR tech stacks.
