About the role
The College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University seeks a part‑time lecturer to teach graduate‑level Human Resources Management courses on the Boston campus. The role involves delivering instruction on topics such as talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, and strategic HR management.
Key responsibilities
- Teach graduate courses in Human Resources Management, covering a range of core topics.
- Engage in curriculum development to keep course content current with industry trends.
Required profile
- A terminal degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field is preferred; a master’s degree will also be considered.
- Significant industry experience in HR management, preferably at a managerial or executive level.
- Experience teaching at the graduate level, including familiarity with online or hybrid formats.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR) are desirable.
