Part-Time Teller (Westport, MA)

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly and reliable part‑time teller to join its Westport branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with everyday banking transactions while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and address their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and other cash transactions accurately.
• Maintain cash drawer balances and follow all compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer opportunities to cross‑sell bank products.
• Assist customers with digital self‑service tools and educate them on available options.
• Support branch audits, custodial duties and occasional tasks for nearby locations.
• Keep the work area clean and welcoming.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies.
• Willingness to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Computer proficiency.
• Basic math skills.
