About the role
Our consulting firm in New York City is looking for a reliable Office Assistant on a temporary‑to‑permanent basis. You will work full‑time onsite, supporting daily operations and providing front‑desk and administrative support.
Key responsibilities
- Manage front‑desk duties, greet visitors, and route incoming calls.
- Coordinate shipping activities, including certified mail and courier services.
- Support conference‑room setup, catering coordination, and event logistics.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as correspondence, expense management, and document handling.
- Maintain pantry organization, stock inventory, and oversee coffee‑machine maintenance.
- Contribute to event setup and breakdown to ensure smooth execution.
- Perform on‑site duties while adhering to corporate standards and deadlines.
Required profile
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a corporate office environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professionalism and adaptability in diverse workplace scenarios.
- Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
What we offer
- Competitive hourly wage of $24‑$26.
- Full‑time onsite schedule, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
- Opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment.
