Night Replenishment Manager

About the role

The Home Depot Waldorf store is looking for a Night Replenishment Manager (NRM), a member of the store leadership team who oversees freight handling. The NRM supervises freight unloading, pack-out and pack-down, keeps priorities clear so nightly tasks are completed and freight moves smoothly, and teaches, coaches and trains associates on policies and procedures while ensuring safe work. The NRM may be the only manager present at times and must make business and associate decisions following SOPs, and gives input to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers on associate performance.

Key responsibilities

• People (25%): coach associates in the moment, partner with the Night Operations ASM on performance conversations and discipline, recognize good behavior with BRAVO / Homer, run quality walks, check that training requirements are met, help with hiring and approve missed punches and schedule changes.
• Replenishment (25%): direct supervision of unload, pack-out and pack-down, ensure trucks arrive and are unloaded on time, freight is packed out or stored overhead quickly, trash is cleaned up and the store is ready for the next day.
• Safety (25%): enforce safety and hazmat procedures, require PPE and proper lifting techniques, correct unsafe conditions and recognize safe behavior.
• Shared manager on duty (25%): perform closing and MOD tasks, hand off to the previous manager, validate daily priorities, check equipment works and review events and ads.

Required profile

• Ages 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED; 1 year of work experience preferred.
• No travel required; physical work involves walking, standing, stooping, climbing and lifting, sometimes heavy or awkward.
