Mitigation Technician – No Experience Needed, Paid Training

About the role

Join a dynamic team dedicated to “Restore Peace in Crisis.” The Mitigation Technician works on commercial and residential properties to mitigate water, mold, fire and smoke damage, providing essential extraction, containment, demolition and cleaning services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform water extraction, containment setup and breakdown, and demolition after flood, fire, mold or storm damage.
• Clean and restore contents, moving items in and out as needed for all damage claims.
• Follow IICRC standards under the guidance of lead technicians.
• Respond to emergency calls, be on‑call, and work flexible hours, including weekends and rotations.
• Maintain safety protocols and lift 50+ lb regularly.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong work ethic and empathy for customers facing crises.
• Motivated, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to varying climates.
• Willingness to be on‑call and work flexible schedules, including weekends.
• Ability to represent Dreyer’s DKI professionally with customers and the community.
