About the role
Golden Ocala is seeking a General Maintenance Helper to perform routine upkeep and repairs across our Ocala, FL facilities. The role involves handling basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling tasks, ensuring a safe and well‑maintained environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general repairs such as drywall, painting, minor electrical work, and door or fixture repairs.
- Carry out routine maintenance on building systems.
- Clean and assist with the overall upkeep of the facilities.
- Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related maintenance experience.
- Physical ability to lift 50 lb, climb ladders, bend, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
Required skills
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to operate power tools.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
