Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor) – US Virgin Islands

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is seeking an independent, licensed therapist to provide evidence‑based mental health services to children, adults, couples and families in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The role is a 1099 contract position focused on in‑person care, with support from Lyra’s technology platform and clinical consultation team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver culturally responsive, evidence‑based therapy (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) to a diverse client base.
• Manage clinical risk, respond to crises, and maintain measurement‑based care practices.
• Maintain a private office space in the Virgin Islands and schedule appointments through Lyra’s calendar system.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical field (MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD).
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD or equivalent license with no disciplinary actions.
• Full‑time U.S. resident able to work independently.
• Office space in the Virgin Islands to see clients in person.
