Medical Assistant – Float Pool (Full‑Time)

About the role

This position provides individualized medical care to assigned patients in person, electronically, and via telephone under the supervision of a licensed health‑care provider. The Medical Assistant supports the delivery of health‑care services to diverse patient populations and ensures smooth patient flow throughout the visit.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients and providers for each visit, answer patient questions, and ready exam rooms for the next appointment.
• Communicate effectively with patients over the phone and in person, documenting pertinent medical information in the company’s data systems.
• Maintain clinical knowledge, technical skills, and required credentials through ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• High school diploma; preferred completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program.
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Medical Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using computers, software, and web‑based applications.
