Material Coordinator Manager – Operations Management

About the role

Applied Materials seeks a Material Coordinator Manager to lead production and operations functions for capital equipment manufacturing. The role involves supervising teams, optimizing schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across assembly, inspection, test, and final test functions for electronic, mechanical, and electro‑mechanical components.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Lead operational meetings, track performance metrics, and conduct milestone reviews.
• Ensure timely response to operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee safety compliance, employee training, and accident prevention.
• Develop personnel through training, performance management, and career development.
• Support capacity optimization, process improvement, and Lean initiatives.

Required profile

• Formal supervisory experience with the ability to set priorities and coach employees.
• Strong judgment for solving day‑to‑day technical and operational problems.
• Ability to interact with customers, vendors, and suppliers as needed.
