Machine Operator – Agricultural Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator to join BASF’s Agricultural Solutions team in Saint Joseph, Missouri. The role involves operating and maintaining automated packaging and aseptic filling equipment during a 10‑hour shift, Tuesday‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot automated machinery for packaging agricultural components.
• Run aseptic filling equipment for sterile product transfers.
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, tapers, fillers, printers, and safety equipment.
• Ensure product quality and proper case packaging.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial or mechanical experience.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on quality control.
• Proven critical‑thinking and process‑improvement abilities.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with automated or robotic equipment.
• Experience operating aseptic filling and packaging machinery.
• Basic preventative maintenance skills.
