OEM Site Service Representative – 3rd Shift (10 pm‑6 am)

About the role

Join BASF as an OEM Site Service Representative on the 3rd shift, supporting automotive assembly plants in Flint, MI. You will provide on‑site technical expertise for BASF coating products, ensuring performance meets customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily operation of BASF products in customer automotive assembly plants.
• Provide on‑site technical and application expertise, including color management, defect identification, and corrective actions.
• Ensure product performance meets or exceeds specifications and business objectives.
• Respond to customer requirements, enforce quality specifications, and assist with new product/application development.
• Collaborate with BASF sales and technical teams to deliver value‑added technical support.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones.

Required profile

• Strong safety mindset and excellent interpersonal communication.
• Mechanical aptitude for collecting and analyzing technical data.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures, work instructions, and JSAs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for reporting and communication.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate leadership potential, and be flexible for shifts and weekends.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
