About the role
Airbus Helicopters is seeking a long‑term intern to join the Civil Programs team in Columbus, MS. You will work alongside programs, engineering and operations, gaining hands‑on experience in aircraft production and project management.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in industrial project planning, tracking aircraft status and allocations.
- Update and monitor project information across multiple contracts, creating leading indicators for leadership.
- Maintain master schedules for each project, making notes and updates to keep schedules current.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a 2‑ or 4‑year accredited program with at least one year of coursework in a business‑related field.
- Must be located in the Columbus/Starkville, MS area and be a US Person under ITAR.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience using SAP (MM, PP modules) and Outlook.
- Strong knowledge of technical terminology and ability to interpret design data.
