Litigated Claims Specialist, General Liability

At Zurich North America, we are seeking a Litigated Claims Specialist to join our high‑performing Commercial General Liability team. If you’re passionate about resolving complex issues, collaborating with sharp legal and business minds, and delivering outstanding service to clients, this role could be the next exciting step in your career. You will manage a portfolio of high‑exposure, multi‑party commercial general liability claims and report on a hybrid work schedule to one of Zurich’s offices.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex litigated claims from start to finish with a focus on quality, efficiency, and service excellence.
• Partner closely with internal and external counsel, underwriters, and risk professionals.
• Provide clear, timely communication to customers and stakeholders throughout the claim process.
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with regulatory standards and company protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice, including an associate degree, with 3+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program with 2+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance OR High School Diploma or Equivalent with 5+ years of experience in Claims or Insurance.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
