About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, within the OAGH Cancer Center Clinic. Working under the direction of a registered nurse, the LPN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care and IV therapy to assigned patients following the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.
Assist and direct ancillary nursing staff, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Maintain confidentiality, adapt to rapid changes, and uphold regulatory compliance.

Required profile

Current LPN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

IV therapy administration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques.
