Legal Counsel (In‑House Attorney)

About the role

Trove Brands is seeking two experienced in‑house attorneys to join its fast‑growing legal team. As a Legal Counsel you will provide proactive, business‑focused legal advice that supports the company’s innovative product portfolio and rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, reputational, and commercial risks.
• Stay current on evolving laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop scalable legal processes and best‑practice standards for a high‑growth environment.
• Communicate potential issues clearly and drive timely, practical resolutions.
• Handle confidential, high‑stakes matters with sound judgment.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Member of the Utah State Bar (or eligible for admission) in good standing.
• 3–7 years of post‑law school experience, preferably in a corporate or in‑house setting.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit, high emotional intelligence, and a collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Excellent legal research and analytical abilities.
• Proven negotiation and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple critical projects under tight deadlines.
