About the role
The Leasing Professional will coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals for a Greystar property in the Houston area.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours and show available apartments.
- Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and ensure a smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.
- Inspect apartments prior to move‑in to confirm they are ready for occupancy.
- Support resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and work to secure lease renewals.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospects.
- Attention to detail for application processing, credit checks, and lease documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple leasing activities and maintain accurate records.
