Senior Occupancy Planner

About the role

This role maintains the official working record of building space and occupancy for a large multi‑tenant federal office building. It includes managing stacking plans, space assignments, utilization analyses, and tracking occupancy changes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of space by floor, suite, tenant, use, and occupancy status.
• Update stacking plans and occupancy diagrams, reconciling floor plans, space assignments, occupancy records, and financial data.
• Track usable, rentable, assigned, shared, vacant, and unavailable space in line with industry and federal standards.
• Support employee population estimates, utilization analyses, and prepare recurring occupancy reports and executive dashboards.
• Record planned moves, restacks, expansions, contractions, and new occupancies, and assist with preliminary blocking and space scenario analyses.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience with space, occupancy, workplace, or real‑estate data.
• Proven ability to reconcile floor plans, space assignments, occupancy data, and financial information.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, database and data‑visualization tools, and applicable drawing software.

Required skills

• Excel or other spreadsheet applications.
• Database and data‑visualization tools.
• AutoCAD and Revit.
• CAFM/IWMS platforms such as Tririga, Archibus, or Manhattan.
