Leasing Professional – Community Leasing Specialist

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for a Greystar community. You will manage all leasing activities from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and prepare lease packages to achieve occupancy goals.
• Inspect and ready apartments for move‑in, coordinating with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Maintain show units and common areas to Greystar standards, ensuring a compelling leasing environment.
• Support lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents early, and securing signed agreements.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to lift 25‑50 lb, work in all weather conditions, and perform frequent walking, standing, and climbing.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
