Leasing Professional – Avana Woods

About the role

The Leasing Professional will lead the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal initiatives to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention targets. You will guide prospects through the leasing journey, ensure smooth move‑ins, and support residents throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to qualify prospects and guide them through the leasing process.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for lease preparation and move‑in coordination.
• Ability to analyze market data and adapt marketing strategies to maintain occupancy.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Proficiency in online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
