Leasing Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead the marketing, sales and leasing activities for a residential community in Charleston. The role combines strategic planning, on‑site traffic management and collaboration with maintenance to achieve revenue, occupancy and resident‑retention targets.

Key responsibilities

• Direct community marketing, print and internet advertising, and sales initiatives to meet revenue and occupancy goals.
• Set rent pricing, concessions and leasing incentives while monitoring day‑to‑day leasing operations.
• Analyze market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement creative pricing strategies.
• Create and execute advertising strategies using technology and property‑management software to generate leasing reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure “ready” apartments meet appearance and safety standards, and employ merchandising techniques such as mini‑models.
• Generate and monitor traffic, qualify prospects, prepare lease documentation and oversee move‑in procedures.
• Review financial, traffic and closing‑ratio reports to identify performance trends.
