Landscaper III – $1,500 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

The Makena Golf & Beach Club on Maui is seeking a Landscaper III to maintain the visual appeal of its golf course, club amenities, and residential properties. You will play a key part in delivering the Discovery Land Company experience for members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain landscapes across the golf course, club areas, residential homes, and common zones, including weeding, mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, fertilizing, pruning and raking.
• Install new plantings and seasonal color displays in residential and club settings.
• Water and care for new and seasonal plantings.
• Participate in leaf removal during dormant seasons.
• Apply chemicals and fertilizers safely to sustain healthy landscapes.
• Operate hand tools and equipment such as push mowers, zero‑turn mowers, and string trimmers.
• Keep work areas orderly, assist with projects, and set up/close department tools daily.
• Report safety or maintenance issues to the Landscape Director and attend meetings/training.

Required profile

• Prior landscaping experience, preferably in residential or hospitality environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles safely.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and meet physical demands.
• Basic horticultural knowledge is a plus.
