Lab Digitalization Specialist – Charlotte, NC

About the role

The Regional Laboratory Digitalization Specialist supports product and process development for dispersions and resins by leading laboratory digitalization initiatives across regional sites. The role focuses on improving data consistency, accuracy, and usability while reducing manual effort.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on support for laboratory test methods, instrument integration, and material ingredient management.
• Connect laboratory instruments and data streams to approved systems such as EDvantage and LabCup.
• Coordinate LIMS updates, gather user feedback, support user acceptance testing, and build a strong key‑user community.
• Evaluate hardware standards, emerging user‑interface approaches, and ensure cybersecurity and data integrity.
• Serve as the primary contact for scientists, technicians, automation specialists, IT partners, and external support teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in laboratory digitalization, LIMS support, or instrument integration.
