K-12 Testing Monitor

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Paraprofessional to support our evaluation team in administering student assessments. The role involves preparing technology and materials, monitoring testing environments, and providing logistical assistance to ensure smooth evaluation sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laptops, tablets and other devices, set up secure testing platforms and ensure internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot minor technical issues during assessments under evaluator guidance.
• Maintain a quiet, distraction‑free testing environment and monitor student behavior to follow standardized procedures.
• Assist evaluators with distributing, collecting and securing testing materials.
• Document testing accommodations, provide clerical support such as note‑taking, scheduling and data entry.
• Communicate promptly about any issues and uphold confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Prior experience in an educational or testing environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality and stay attentive during proctoring.
