About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer to join its SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Technology Consultant 2, you will help clients in the services and energy sectors modernize their applications through AI‑enabled digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions for the development team.
• Develop, test, and integrate new Java‑based features using Spring Boot and micro‑service patterns.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and ensure system stability.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth roll‑outs.
• Diagnose and resolve production incidents, proposing preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing procedures, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirement gathering to implementation.
• Comfort translating complex business needs into technical solutions.
