International Accounting Director (Remote)

About the role

Kelly is seeking an experienced International Accounting Director to lead the accounting function for all non‑US entities. This senior leadership position reports directly to the Chief Accounting Officer and operates fully remotely, supporting teams across APAC, EMEA and Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Own the trial balance and financial close for every non‑US legal entity, ensuring accurate journal entries, reconciliations and cost allocations.
• Manage regional consolidation processes, linking local closes to corporate reporting tools such as TM1 and Power BI.
• Oversee foreign‑exchange revaluation, cash reporting and ERP data‑model maintenance across Dynamics 365, Accpac/Sage and local systems.
• Direct intercompany accounting, including invoices, royalty entries, chargebacks and balance confirmations.
• Ensure local GAAP compliance and statutory reporting, handling VAT, payroll, tax provisions and coordination with local tax advisors.

Required profile

• Extensive multi‑jurisdictional accounting experience, especially in EMEA, APAC and Latin America.
• Proven ability to lead large, geographically dispersed finance teams.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and US‑GAAP conversion.
• Comfort operating across multiple time zones and ERP platforms.
