Industrial Maintenance Technician – 4‑10 hr Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Lincolnton facility on a 4‑10 hour night shift schedule (Thursday‑Sunday or Saturday‑Tuesday). The role involves maintaining and repairing advanced automation equipment, including robots, CNC machines, and automated paint lines.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, install, and repair automatic, robotic, and CNC machinery, such as paint lines, setting presses, welders, grinders, and Fanuc/Denso robots.
• Program and modify PLCs, HMIs, and servo controllers; create and update wiring diagrams.
• Perform mechanical repairs, replace defective control modules, and conduct final adjustments to ensure proper equipment function.
• Support continuous improvement activities and document all work in the SAP work order system.
• Teach and fine‑tune robot positions to correct material‑handling paths.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with control systems, PLCs, CNC controls, robots, PCs, and HMIs.
• Proven ability to read and interpret prints, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Full competency working safely on electrical panels up to 3‑phase 480 V, with a practical safety demonstration required.
• Strong problem‑solving, computer, and interpersonal skills, with a mechanical aptitude.
