Machine Operator – Cut & Pack – 3rd Shift

About the role
The Cut & Pack Operator runs an automated system that cuts and packages sandpaper sheets, ensuring product quality, safety, and production targets on the 3rd shift at Bosch's Lincolnton facility.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the automated Cut & Pack production system, loading sandpaper rolls and performing machine changeovers.
- Retrieve and verify materials using SAP, and operate supporting equipment such as pin lifts, pallet lifts, and hoists.
- Conduct routine quality inspections, maintain production documentation, and follow safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, assist with adjustments and repairs, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 40 pounds safely.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and follow written instructions.
- Adaptability to a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and multitasking capability.
Required skills
- SAP or similar manufacturing system usage.
- Operation of automated Cut & Pack machinery and related equipment.
