Machine Operator – Specialist III (Brazing) – 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Bosch's Lincolnton Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center as a Machine Operator – Specialist III focused on brazing. You will support the startup and implementation of a new brazing production line, gaining hands‑on experience with the process and helping to create local work instructions and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the launch of the brazing operation and travel overseas for training.
• Communicate regularly with Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and other departments.
• Train, monitor and provide feedback to new production associates on the assigned shift.
• Load/unload, operate, adjust, change‑over and maintain multiple machines while applying 5S principles.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, meet daily production targets and escalate deviations.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; technical or vocational schooling a plus.
• 3–5 years experience with brazing processes or similar manufacturing environments.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime; ability to stand and be mobile for 8 hours.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and possess proper hand dexterity.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Brazing process expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Operation and set‑up of industrial machines using basic hand tools.
• Use of measuring devices and ability to read product prints.
• 5S implementation and machine‑cleanliness procedures.
• Problem identification and troubleshooting.
