Implementation Specialist I - Payroll Tax

About the role

Asure Software, a provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services, is hiring an Implementation Specialist I in Nashville, Tennessee. The role is hybrid (1-3 days per week in the office) and focuses on configuring the payroll tax product for clients, leading training, defining requirements, running configurations and testing, and owning implementation results from kickoff through stabilization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client implementations, building accurate configurations and delivering successful outcomes.
• Deliver group presentations and training sessions so clients can use and maintain the Asure Software.
• Own all stages of implementation projects: discovery of business requirements, configuration of the Asure tax solution, delivery of training, deployment and support for the first two successful payrolls.
• Provide status reports and project updates to the project team and resolve project hurdles through coordination with clients and internal teams.
• Ensure client adoption of the product and Asure procedures, and leave every customer satisfied enough to provide a reference.

Required profile

• 3+ years supporting clients with US payroll and/or tax processing.
• 2+ years of success in a dedicated account ownership service model.
• Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws and payroll principles.
• Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and organizational skills, plus excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• CPP, FPC, PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
