HR Coordinator (Part‑time Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support our Maryland‑based mental health and rehabilitation center on a part‑time remote basis. You will act as a trusted resource for staff and leadership, ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance, and employee support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with talent acquisition by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and pre‑screening candidates.
• Design and execute structured onboarding plans for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, and EEO data in line with U.S. labor law.
• Review employment conditions for compliance and manage invoice processing for employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Support disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and performance review processes.
• Provide clear guidance on HR policies as a neutral liaison for staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of direct HR experience supporting U.S. companies.
• Practical knowledge of U.S. labor laws, employment regulations, and standard grievance procedures.
• At least 1 year of remote HR support experience.
• Detail‑oriented, approachable, and able to work independently.
