HR Business Partner / Generalist – Luxury Retail (Maternity Cover)

About the role

This temporary position supports a leading luxury retail brand during a maternity leave period, running from now until January 2027. The HR Business Partner/Generalist will work across both store and head‑office teams, covering more than 100 employees in the United States and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and staff.
• Support organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance.
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
• Lead recruitment efforts for store and head‑office positions.
• Maintain HR records and reporting for a geographically dispersed workforce.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or Generalist.
• Previous experience in retail, preferably within a luxury fashion environment.
• Proven ability to handle HR functions for a workforce of 100+ employees across the US and Canada.
• Experience covering maternity or other temporary HR assignments.
