Compensation Analyst

About the role

Join 3M as a Compensation Analyst and work closely with innovative teams worldwide. You will support production compensation, ensure compliance, and help shape compensation communications while leveraging AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with U.S. Plant HR on production compensation, external benchmarking, and annual increase planning and implementation.
• Support Workday compensation processes to ensure accurate administration, operational efficiency and respond to HR help tickets.
• Conduct compliance audits, monitor regulatory developments and develop action plans in collaboration with legal and cross‑functional partners.
• Create compensation communications, 3M Go content and training materials, leveraging AI to enhance development and delivery.
• Provide consultation on key compensation processes and drive process‑improvement initiatives with HR, IT and Legal.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed before start date.
• Minimum five years of cross‑functional HR experience in private, public, government or military settings.
• Two years of global compensation experience (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

• Microsoft Office suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word.
