Program Manager – Employee Events

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Employee Event Program Manager. In this role you will streamline, centralize, and lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal employee events and programs, partnering with internal teams and leaders to deliver impactful offsites and community gatherings.

Key responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage external vendors for team offsites, ensuring alignment with group size, objectives, and budget.
• Lead contract negotiations with hotels, transportation providers, restaurants, and other partners to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Track vendor performance and maintain a database of trusted partners.
• Partner with facilities teams to support on‑site event setup, signage, and workspace accommodations.
• Collaborate with internal managers to align event goals and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and enhance company merchandise “swag” offerings for new hires, employees, and customer gifting.
• Coordinate approval processes for local community holiday and summer parties worldwide.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience planning, executing, and evaluating events and meetings.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
• Experience building collaborative cross‑functional partnerships and advising managers at all levels.
• Must live within commutable distance to the Veeva Boston office.
