HealthShare Application Engineer – Overnight Remote Shift

About the role

We are seeking a HealthShare Application Engineer to work overnight on a 100% remote basis, supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project. The role involves platform administration, production support, automation, CI/CD, security integrations, and performance optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain InterSystems HealthShare, Health Connect, IRIS, Ensemble, and related technologies in production environments.
• Develop automation solutions, manage CI/CD pipelines, and handle system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, patching, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Manage certificate lifecycle, OAuth, SSO, and ADFS integrations, and provide Tier 3 production support and troubleshooting.
• Configure monitoring and alerting tools to ensure platform availability and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve complex issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in IT, healthcare IT, or federal government contracting.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Government/Public Trust clearance.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with InterSystems HealthShare, Health Connect, IRIS, Ensemble or Cache.
• Linux/Unix system administration.
• Cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible.
• Monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch.
• OAuth, SSO, certificate management, ADFS.
• Python scripting for automation.
