Groundskeeper for Town Center Community

About the role

The Groundskeeper ensures the community’s physical environment is well‑maintained, keeping the grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal at high standards while supporting the service team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect common areas throughout the day, removing litter, debris and pet droppings to keep all spaces neat.
• Clear trash from vacant apartments before make‑ready, transport it to dumpsters or storage, and maintain those storage areas.
• Complete minor service requests from the Service Supervisor or Community Manager and assist the make‑ready specialist.
• Change locks per property policy and verify pool‑gate operation complies with safety codes.
• Distribute resident notices and communications as needed.
• Report any hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors promptly.
• Provide courteous customer service, answer resident questions and address maintenance complaints sensitively.
• Follow Greystar’s safety policies, attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents accurately.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays, and to be on‑call as required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to assist other properties or attend training.
